Well, my day went to shit quick
Aug. 12th, 2008 01:33 pmIt's a typical day. I throw in a load of laundry and settle in at the computer to do my daily routine. I can hear the washer in the basement, doing it's thing.
Then I hear water that's much louder than it should be. I go to the basement and find water POURING out of the back of the washer. Crap! I stop the washer and sweep the water into the floor drain. I look behind the washer, but can't figure out where the water is coming from or how to fix it. My knowledge of washers is very limited.
It looks like I'll be taking my soapy clothes to the laundromat. I loathe the laundromat. But I can't call Dad home from work for this. I really don't want to tell him about it at all. He's already cranky because he got called in early.
My apologies, Father. You have schooled me well on fixing things, but the lessons on MacGyvering a washer made some years before I was born was lacking.
I hope we have enough quarters.
