"Really? That's your DiNero?"

Just a few comments on tonight's episode.
The star DA being a pimp was a nice twist. I didn't see that coming. But as soon as the call girl showed up on Castle's doorstep, I figured she was behind it all. Never trust a beautiful woman.
But, I loved the way that Castle stepped in for her and the Wordsmith Locksmith. He really cared about the girl and you could see just how hurt he was by the deception. And I loved him buddying up to the Wordsmith Locksmith. Now there's a super hero team.
Also, Castle's barely there restraint in not grilling Alexis about her secret was fantastic. And Beckett stepping in and giving her advice (good advice, at that) was great. I like that Alexis has enough trust and respect for Beckett that she feels comfortable going to her about things.
I hope we see Esposito's friend again. First of all, I recognize him from somewhere, but missed any familar names in the opening guest credits. Secondly, I like how he greeted Ryan as "Honeymilk". Nice throwback to an earlier episode and it's a nice little character bit for both Ryan and Esposito. They are the Bromance of this show, with a sometimes threesome with Castle.
And I mean that purely in a purely platonic way.
In cooking news, I added another burn to my hand. I hit it on the very hot oven as I was putting a pizza into it. So now I have a blister and a red stripe. Along with the miscellaneous scratches (that I can't remember/don't know how I got), it looks like my left hand has been involved in some very serious business usually found in a high-violence action-adventure or possibly a low-key slasher movie.
Not the best look after Halloween. I'm just saying.
