First of all, when the knock out gas started pouring in, Teyla and Rodney attempted to block it by pulling their shirts up over their faces. Valiant effort, but if it doesn't work on a fart, it's not working on other kinds of gas.

In other news...LORNE! How I have missed your hobbity little self. Stay awesome.

Woolsey was rather bad ass in a beaurecratic way. Sheppard and Co. are all doubting him and I'm like..."Hell no! That's who I want in a situation like this. A weasle!" But a badass weasle. That "lock 'em up" line was equivilant to "fuck you". Excellent.

The premise was interesting. Eventually, the Atlantis teams' highway-to-hell good intentions were bound to catch up with them. Too bad the whole thing was hinky. It would have been more powerful to see them win or lose based on their merit. But, I imagine this is just a set-up to a later episode ("Remnants", I think), just like, really, last week's episode was a set-up for this one.

In conclusion...clip show! Rock them visual effects! Woot!



Aww, my Fraggle made it a whole 18 minutes. At least I got to have the fun of hearing David Nykl talk like a Canadian.

The story was pretty okay, but I had the yeti whatsit pegged by the half-way mark. I almost felt bad about them putting the fat guy in the safe. But he had been kind of a douche and he was probably singled out to be the first to go if cannabalism came in to play anyway.

And they killed Sylvio! I liked him almost.

I didn't miss Ashley much. I did miss Henry. That speaks volumes.

Eh, I'm having more fun with this show than I probably should, but that's what I do. I'm gonna keep watching.


Also of note...we're dogsitting Zasu again for the weekend. My pants are covered in doggy slobber.

And, AMC is running Frightfest until Halloween. Nothing but blood, guts, and gore on my TV for a week. This is my kind of Heaven.
