Oh my God, I am in love with Bill Nye. As the science guy, he's awesome. As the snarky science guy, he's ambrosia. I need a "Does Bill Nye have to slap a bitch?" icon.
Neil deGrasse Tyson was also fab. It's a shame he didn't have more screen time.
Take out the schmoop at the beginning and the end (of course, there was implied mile-high bow chicka wow wow...go McKay!) and I pretty much liked the episode. Dave Foley was excellent as an arrogant ass and he had some great scenes with David Hewlett.
Keller treating the bickering geniuses (genii?) like children and calling them sixth graders was snicker-worthy.
The dialogue was full of quotables and once the action got going, I quit flipping to Family Guy during the commercials.
The biggest nitpick I have (aside from the shipping because we all know I consider shipping with the same regard as eight year olds of the opposite sex consider each other...riddled with cooties) was the tornadoes. If they were so worried the tornadoes would be bad enough to launch them all screaming to Oz, then the twister being that close to the building should have caused some kind of structural damage that everybody knew about. A twister doesn't even have to get that close to make the roof come off. I'm guessing they weren't as strong as they anticipated?
Yes, of all the things I could complain about, I choose a tornado. You should see how violent I get when movies and TV shows get shark behavior wrong.
Poor Henry. He's hit puberty or something and now he fursplodes and that gives him angst. But, now he has a bloodhound nose and that could be of the good, so he'll be okay. With help from Bigfoot, who is tender with him and then slaps him to get him back to work. Love it.
I still have no idea what kind of abnormal Henry is though. Either they've never said or my brain filters it out just to torture me.
Yeah, other stuff happened in this episode, too, and it's not that I don't care; I just happen to love Henry more.
Also, Kavan Smith. I love Kavan Smith. He's my favorite hobbit.
