Work kicked my butt today. It wasn't bad, as I have said fuck it I shall do it my way, but it was just a lot of physical labor trying to get things in the shoe department done.

Pam, Kirt, and I tried to get as much done as possible. Basically, we had one mod left to finish and then I wanted to get all the shoes off the floor and out of the carts and back onto the risers before we start tearing up the kids valley tomorrow and make a bigger mess.

Pam and Kirt managed to finish the last mod and I made some riser room for the shoes, but not as much as I would have liked. I did get most off the freight boxes off the floor, but still I was hoping to have more of the risers condensed so all Cindy and Shirley would have to do was put the shoes up on them. I don't like pushing Shirley too hard and I feel bad about pushing Pam as hard as I did this weekend. At least Shirley has the day off tomorrow to rest and Pam won't be back in until Friday. Sandy would kill me if she knew they were working so hard, even if she's not department manager anymore.

This whole thing has to be done by Thursday. We're hoping to get the last mod set by Tuesday so we've got two days to finesse things and rearrange risers. I think we'll make it. We did really well this weekend.

My legs are killing me and I'm predicting an early bed time tonight. My whole body's tired. I'm losing my hardcore edge, I think.
