I don't want to talk about work right now. Work right now gives me the rage and the rage gives you cancer. A tumor right now would just make me more cranky.

Pluto's not a planet any more. I would be sad about that, but all I can think is how I'll now be able to say to younger people, "When I was your age, we had a planet named after a cartoon dog". Of course, there may be some confusion about what cartoon dog, but I'll clear that right up when I tell them that Walt Disney's chryogenically frozen head is going to come and eat them in their sleep.

I stole this meme from almostnever. I don't think she'll mind. If she does, she may stalk and kill me at her leisure.

Doing this made me realize that while I have had fannish love for many things over the years, I don't have a lot that I've had a definite favorite character.

Sadly, you only got one right. However, I do have serious Bull love, Czechov got hired because he looked like Davy Jones, Worf is badass, my love for Face grew after meeting Dirk Benedict, and I thought the young professor in Hellboy was cute. So you are jiving with me, babe.

My mom had a huge crush on Worf, though. It was really bizarre to watch a grown woman with whom I share DNA lust after a Klingon.

Night Court was a snarky show. Heh. Love me some snark. But, alas, no, Roz, Dan, and Harry aren't my favorites. This is the really tough one.

Dude, I love Night Court and will be buying this DVD they released even though it has four episodes on it, because one's the Mourge episode, which is my alltime fave.

Hmm - Christine? Either that or it's one of the two earlier (and sadly now late) female balifs. Or that homeless guy who was Dan's sidekick whose name I sadly cannot recall...

I DIED when I heard that. Who the heck's going to play B.J? Can Mister T just come back and play him again, plz? He's barely aged.

Dan's sidekick was named Phil. But it wasn't him. It was one of the two female baliffs in the first couple of years. Now which one? Hmm? Heh.

I'm curious as to where you got this information from about Michael. I've not heard anything about him even being considered for it.

The fact that I couldn't remember Phil's name shamed me. The fact that I can remember Selma and Flo by name is amazing (And I'm guessing Selma for you).

I actually heard the rumor on that great bastion of credibility, imdb.com. I've seen it pop up as confirmed news on other message boards. Has anything been confirmed, outside of there being a remake, period? If it has and what I've said was wrong, feel free to smother me with alaskan huskies *chuckles*. I have nothing concrete, otherwise.

Yes! Selma! I adored her. I now work with a lady who's a lot like her. *is blessed*

I do know that a movie is in the works. Still preproduction stages, I think. However, casting is still up in the air. I keep hearing that they won't recast the original roles because it would be too difficult to do.

I would find it amusing if Michael did get cast as Murdock because the reason for the recasting would be because the original cast is considered too old and Michael is actually older than Dwight Schultz.

As much as I heart Data, no, he was not my favorite.

Right on Numb3rs, though. Of course, I have professed my Larry-love to you before.

I have several favorite characters in Discworld (how can you have only one?!), but Rincewind is definitely one of them, so I'll take it. (Also: Death, Granny Weatherwax, Sam Vimes, and Vetinari.)
