Well, it hasn't fallen off yet
Aug. 23rd, 2006 10:58 pmWe are rearranging the shoe department at work. Why? I dunno. Why do it during back to school week? I dunno. Wal-Mart way, I guess. But it involved moving an eight foot section of side counter from one row to another. We did that yesterday.
Bets were placed on who would get hurt first during the move.
Charlene won.
She was moving an endcap fixture and the signing fell on her head. She wasn't hurt, which is good because I started laughing as soon as it happened. I am a caring soul.
Amazingly, it only took us an hour to move the eight foot section and Charlene was the only one who got hurt.
However, after the move I was cleaning off the shelves (oh my laws, so dirty), caught my pinkie on one of them, and gouged two holes in it.
*facepalm*
The saddest part about it is that I've made myself bleed while cleaning on at least three other occasions. Sign from God that I should not remove the dust from anything in this store.
After that, I helped Tessa load forty bags of mulch for a customer. The entire time I was thinking how sore I was going to be the next day.
Only a slight soreness in the left hip this morning. I obviously still got it and my hardcoreness is firmly intact.
So, tomorrow, I go in a few hours early to help set mods in shoes.
I'm so excited I can barely stand it.

Oh and if we're still on for the movie on Friday *looks at calender* Uh, tomorrow (it's still Wednesday to me), the matinees are at 1:15 or 4:15.
