Life presents us with many unanswered questions. I've already figured out why I'm here (to have a good time), so I'm moving on to the next one on my list.

Why do fandoms for television shows that are comedies end up being saturated with fanfiction that's filled with angst, drama, torture, non-con, injury, death, and generally non-funny situations?

I've been working on this one for months and the only answers I came up with is that the writers either can't do comedy (which is really hard in my opinion) or it's their attempt at giving depth to something that sometimes can be rather two-dimensional.

Anyone else have a theory?

I'd like to get this one answered so I can move on to my next question: What happens to sour cream after it expires?

...You've discovered the joys of A-Team fandom, haven't you? There's a ton of Face uber!h/c twink fics floating around there.

Either that or you're reading OldTimeFan's Big One Series again ;-)

*hangs head* Yes, I have delved into the A-Team fandom. Luck upon luck, though, I've found one author that I truly love who I think captures the spirit of the show as well as the characters.

I can't bring myself to attempt to read any slash. You know me, I love me some slash, but...not in this fandom. Just doesn't work for me.

I didn't know you had any experience in A-Team fandom.

Oh, yeah, LAS' trouble is that there's only like eight people that write and one of them is a parsnip.

Oh, I skim through stuff over at ff.net looking for recs - I read anything I've seen a few times and for characters I can grasp. I think there should be a drinking game for it, though: Whenever Face is comforted through the joys of buttsecks, drink!

Hah! But remember, some of these people don't think it's OOC for Lenny to become a crazed assassin, sooo...

Second question: Nothing. I think you can keep sour cream around till it gets green and furry.

Does it get green and furry? It doesn't last that long around here and I was thinking of buying one just for the purpose of seeing what happens to it.

I know we had a pretty old container of sour cream once. All it did was seperate and start to smell more sour.

I'd like to see if it goes green though. It'd be an interesting experiment.

Oh...and you might want to check your email if you haven't done so recently. Evidently, there was a technical oops at Wizard Con. They said my tickets are going to be at the pick-up window now since they couldn't mail them out in time. If you haven't got yours yet, they'll have sent an email with a confirmation number you'll need to bring to pick them up if yours were in the 'oops' batch.
