winged_fire and I are finally getting our shit together to go to Wizard World in two weeks. Yes, we are slow.

We've decided to go to the con two days and spend a night up there. That should be pretty nice. Beats driving up two days in a row like I did one year.

I'm hemming and hawing about whether or not to try for autographs from people this year, even though Dirk Benedict (OMG!FACE!) is going to be there. I can't shake the weirdness of asking people to sign a picture of themselves so I can take it home and put it upstairs in storage to forget about it. I don't know why it doesn't make sense to me, but it doesn't. But, I keep trying it in hopes that a light of understanding will suddenly shine down upon me and the mysteries of the world will be revealed.

But so far, bupkis.

I usually just go up there for the incredibly random sparkly shit that I like to buy anyway.

Well, I do it because sometimes you can get the celebrity to write something very dorky on your picture.

Of xourse, the pic I have of Ric Flair is non-dorky, but I got Jeff Jarrett to sign the baby picture they had printed in WWF magazine the year I'd seen him.
