I had to set three sunglasses towers today. Wasn't leaving until I got them done, come Hell, highwater, or dead bodies.
Shirley, bless her heart, put up with me and helped me out and didn't get in my way. Those who got it in my way (two other associates included), got the bitch-frost.
Also, for future reference, if you say something stupid, I will look at you like you're an idiot and perhaps even make a comment as such. Eight bucks an hour just doesn't prevent that kind of stuff.
To be fair, the incident in which I'm referring to I was nicer than I could have been. I could have told the lady who wanted into the fitting rooms and asked me, "Can you let me into the restroom" that, yes, I could and she could probably let herself in there as well. Instead I just looked at her like she was a rude moron, corrected her, and told her I'd find someone for her. So, I was nice.
So I ended up leaving work all keyed up and forty-minutes over. Now I'm coming down from it and my body hurts and my patience is very thin.
But I got salsa and chips from El Rey's, so it's all good.
