This makes up for the mad dash

whiski_sourI got a call from JG this evening. He'd apparently been calling me all day, but since I didn't have my phone on me, I didn't know. He told me to go to his house because he bought me a present.
Since it's Sunday, I had to rush around for ten minutes attempting to make myself presentable before going to Bloomington.
Get there to find JG had not only gotten me Mick Foley's kids book "Tales From Wrescal Lane", but he also got it signed for me by Mick. Apparently, Mick was signing autographs in Champaign. I did not know this and JG had only tried once to contact me before today because he is a stupid head.
But, that's okay because I've got a shiny new book and Mick's autograph and that is the coolest.
Now I must sleep because I have to do art projects with Hammie tomorrow morning. This has "disaster" written all over it.
