Dad's birthday luncheon is taken care of. Papa, Mimzie, Hammie, and Hobbit all came over and we went to El Rey's. I ended up getting soaked trying to get Hammie buckled in her car seat because it was raining and she was too busy dicking around throwing french fries out of the car.

Hammie was the source of humor today. At one point she looked at Mimzie and said, "Mo-om, take a pill!" She's almost three and has this kind of attitude. Her favorite word is also, apparently, "shit" because it got said a lot today.

When they left, she also walked right outside and jumped in the first mud puddle she saw.

Hobbit had a grand ol' time crawling around and exploring the house and attempting to eat styrofoam. *shakes head* Judas. She also makes a rather big show of taking a shit.

There may be pictures of the girls up later, we'll see.

Papa had a good time playing with the girls, but you can tell he misses Grandma a lot. There were moments when he got a bit choked up. You knew he was thinking about her. The holiday season is going to be really rough on him, I know.

The weather has been yucky all day. Cold and rainy and thundering. Makes me want to nap.
