How delightfully unexpected

whiski_sourWent to the gas station to pick up a newspaper and a pop as per my usual routine on Tuesday. As I'm going to put money into the pop machine I hear someone yell, "Why don't you do something!"
I look.

winged_fire, remember Tim Alwood? It was him). I was just a tad shocked, lemme tell ya. Especially since I'm traipsing around in shorts and a t-shirt and I haven't shaved my legs and I didn't get to wash my hair last night because I was on the phone with hobbitgal until 2 am.
Anyway, I talked to him for a few minutes. He's no longer the skinny, chia-pet haired kid that would break into lockers and steal things for me (okay, he only did that once in junior high and I didn't even ask him to do it). He's definitely grown up some. Now he's a hardened military man who's done a tour in Afghanistan and is now stationed in New York.
Still a smart ass though. Some things time just can't change.
On one hand, it was kinda nice seeing him since it's been so long. On the other hand, it's was kinda shitty seeing him because I have yet to make anything of myself and I'm kinda insecure about that.
Though I have to wonder...Ya suppose he noticed that my boobs were smaller?
