Dad said that he saw them setting up something that looked like a bungee jump uptown at May Days today.

Dude. If that's true, I know exactly where I'll be tomorrow.

Camped out next to it, watching stupid people tie bits of rubberband around their ankles and hurtling themselves off of a crane. That's some prime entertainment there. And, free to boot.

At the very least I'm gonna go up there and get an onion blossom or a funnel cake. Did you know it's possible to get funnel cake to come out of a person's nose? It's true. It's also entertaining.

Almost as entertaining as watching stupid people throw themselves at the asphalt from high altitudes, relying only on a bit of springy string to break their fall.

At any rate, a funnel cake or an onion blossom and watching people hurtle towards the earth at high speed only to bounce back like a yo-yo is small compensation for fucking up my drive to the library, but I'll take it.
