There really IS an eight o'clock in the morning

I managed to finish my short story entry last night. Still has no title. I'm taking it up to Mummy when I pick up my niece so she can read it. She's a really tough to please. I don't think she's ever really loved anything I've written and let her read (with the possible exception of Kitchen Table...that came closest). I figure I'll get some feedback from her and rework it again. The word limit is 1,500 and I'm at 1,012 so I've got some room to play. And, the deadline is June 30th, so I've got some time to perfect it, too.

Is the sun always this bright this early?

katie2shady gave me a plot bunny last night concerning blinky!sex. Don't ask. Just know the conversation started with freebie frisbees. And, I'm still looking into that one fic challenge. I'm just on a roll when it comes to fanfic it seems. I dunno what's gotten into me.

Anyway, I'm off to go get the kid.

*prays the gas prices have dropped since it's the beginning of the week*

My mother has no problem telling me if I write something that's utter crap. Actually, she probably gets more enjoyment out of that then a parent should.
