It's kinda rainy and gray and cool and icky out today. I had to really fight to get out of bed this morning. Not so much because it was a dreary day, but because I had to attempt to get out of bed without disturbing the cats and getting the dirty look of doom from them.
I failed on that one.
Went to Walmart. They are teh suck when it comes to purple fingernail polish. Apparently, a dark purple color is too much to ask for from them.
I'm supposed to be tutoring tonight. We'll see if she shows up. I finished The Hobbit last night, so I should be well prepared to help her there.
In yesterday's paper, it had a list of all the summer movies coming out this year. There are more that I definitely want to make it to the theater to see than usual. The list:
Shrek 2 (May 21)
Harry Potter: POA (June 4)
Garfield (June 11)
Alien Vs. Predator (August 13)
I know. Out of all the movies listed, I got four. And, it's a good list, huh? Kids movie, kids movie, kids movie, potentially awful horror movie. And, that sums up my taste in entertainment.
I'm not going to attempt to see The Chronicles of Riddick until I get some reviews for it. And, by reviews, I mean people on my flist going and then posting in their journals how it was. As much as I liked Pitch Black, I have a feeling this movie will be disappointing.
There's also going to be a sequel to Anaconda coming out in August. I've seen the trailer for this. It's bad. Mullet bad. Mullet with a wifebeater and ripped jeans driving a turquoise IROQ, blasting Danger Zone on repeat bad. Or maybe it's just me.
If I don't make Alien Vs. Predator (which I'd better get to see because I missed Freddy vs. Jason last year), I WILL see Seed of Chucky because...yeah. I have to see at least one Chucky movie in the theater, no matter how craptacular it is. It's like reliving my childhood, man.
Yeah, I had a really fucked up childhood. But, at least it was a good time.
