I found the perfect, albeit late, Mother's Day gift for Mummy. It's a t-shirt that says, "I child proofed my house, but they keep getting in!" So appropo for her, really.

Am waiting for step dad to come pick me up for Calvin's concert. First concert I've been to in years and it's a Junior High band concert. I'm working myself back into the groove slowly, see.

This will be the last year the junior highers are in that building. Next year, they'll be going to the new junior high built behind the prison high school. And, what is the junior high principal most excited about concerning the new building? A parking lot.

Hey, we all gotta get our jollies somewhere.
