Just because there's a tornado warning for Iraquois county, which is EAST of here I might add, doesn't mean you've got the right to fuck up my tv with your emergency broadcast system nonsense. It's not in DeWitt county. It's not coming to DeWitt county. Stop needlessly interrupting my show. Especially since I know you wouldn't know a fucking tornado if you blew your ass to Oz anyway. Twits.
Meanwhile, Stormi came over to take her test today. She didn't come over yesterday or go to school today because of her great-grandmother's funeral. Apparently, the family's been taking it rather hard and she's been helping out. I can sympathize, but I still wish she would have called me and let me know.
She didn't do too badly on the test. Her biggest problem is the essay questions. She has trouble regurgetating the information for those. I tried to give her some advice on that, but it's actually kind of hard for me. I've never really had any trouble with tests. I was blessed with a good memory in high school, though I apparently sold it for some booze or something after graduating. It's gone now.
In addition to reading The Hobbit in order to help Stormi with her English homework and Goblet of Fire while I walk on the treadmill, I also started reading Prisoner of Azkaban again. Spent all day reading it, actually. Just refreshing my memory before June 4th. Not that I'll see the movie the first day, but probably shortly after that.
While reading POA today, Dad was watching one of those crime shows on the tv. We have a tendency to MiST those. And, of course, Dad was doing his part, throwing out random comments as I read. And, then...
Guy on tv: I was surprised to see him.
Dad: He was bent over and some big black guy was standing behind him.
Me: Dad, no! No talk of sodomy while I'm reading Harry Potter! That's just wrong!
And, now I'm plotting to write a horror film with
katie2shady concering Edge's teeth attempting to destroy the world and discussing the rental of storage brains with
_hellfire.
