I had the oddest thought while writing it though. As I sat here, pulling ideal information out of her notes and organizing it into true/false, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and essay form, I was also chain smoking and drinking a beer. And, I wondered...is this how my high school tests were written? While my teachers were drinking and smoking?

And, then I thought back to my high school days and the teachers I had and the tests I took and decided that no, they weren't drinking and smoking while writing my test.

However, I'm fairly sure a lot of drugs were involved. Only under the influence of cocaine would anyone think it was a good idea to make an freshman English final three in-class themes on Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, and some other classic that escapes me at present.

Lots and lots of cocaine. Because that's the only way they could have possibly been written within the time limit given. High on cocaine.
