Off. His. Nut.
Apr. 16th, 2004 11:07 pmDad told me a little story about him killing a cockroach in the bathroom.
Dad: I was just sitting there. And, here he comes sneaking around. So I started whistling so he'd think I didn't notice him. And, when I started to move, he started to run, but I got him! And, I said, "Thought you could get away from me, huh, bitch?" And, then I thought, "I hope no one can hear me."
I'm telling you, the man is completely and totally mental.
I've really gotta clean house this weekend. At least the kitchen, bathroom, and my room. And, my computer desk. Ick. Maybe vaccuum the living room. The upstairs is pretty clean. But, I've really gotta do it this weekend.
I cleaned my car today. So sparkly clean. I'd forgotten my car was white and not gray. Ick. It's been a long winter for Miss Kitty.
I've got yet another story idea brewing in my brain. Why is it I've got no trouble coming up with the ideas, but I've got no luck at really writing them out and getting them done?
So, I checked The Castle's website (it's a movie theater) to see what was going to be playing (they've been showing ESOTSM for a month now). Looks like the next movie they're getting is probably Ned Kelley. It's that or This Old Cub, a documentary about Cubs player Ron Santo. They also show family matinees on the weekend. They've got The Black Stallion, both Harry Potter movies, Hidalgo, The Wizard of Oz, The Neverending Story, and Shrek advertised for that.
Now, if I had the money, I'd be going practically every weekend for the matinees. But, this is the "fancy" theater and it costs like six bucks for a matinee! I dunno what movie prices are like anywhere else, but six bucks is kinda pricey for a matinee. Most places run matinees for 4.50. But, like I said, this is the fancy theater. Meaning, they don't have theater seats. They've got couches and recliners and chairs and such. And, they've got a bar in the balconey. That sort of thing. It sounds really nice and I'd like to go, but bloody hell. I'm not made of money.
Speaking of which, Stormi's mother is getting a letter from me. She hasn't shown up all week nor called me. I'm a little past the end of my rope here, so she'll be hearing from me.
Meantime, I'm gonna try not to dwell on the fact that I'm virtually unemployable.

Date: 2004-04-23 12:57 am (UTC)Ironically, we have a Castle Cinema by here. It's a semi-arthouse cinema/resteraunt dealie, which has almost been shut down by the echonomy and lack of patrons.
