There's something magical about that
Apr. 14th, 2004 08:18 pmI caught the end of Nicholas Nickleby (or a movies of a similar spelling) when Alan Cumming's character is dancing in a kilt.
Me: Dad, you should learn to dance like that.
Dad: What makes you think I can't?
Me: In a kilt?
Dad: Sure.
Me: What about that hat?
Dad: No, no. Not in THAT hat.
I watched Ghoulies today, too. I forgot how wonderfully bad it is.
Speaking of movies, I'm definitely no avid watcher of them (I've got an ever growing list of the ones I'm supposed to see), but I do admit to having a few guilty pleasures that don't involve anyone getting hacked to bits. For some reason I like The Sum of Us, My First Mister, and Kill Me Later (I ended up seeing all three today). I dunno why. They're totally not the types of movies I normally watch, but for some reason, I always watch them when they're on the tv. It's like, one of those things.
Probably my brain's silent cry of "GET A FUCKING LIFE!"
hobbitgal and I ended up talking on the phone for over two hours last night. I have this feeling that we're not going to get any sleep while she's out here because neither one of us can shut up. Heh.
I did get some writing done so far today, so I wasn't a total waste. Been dragging ass for some reason. It was almost a chore to make cinnamon rolls for dinner.
It's okay, they're reduced fat.
I'm gonna try to get a bit of rewriting done on one of the stories I'm working on. Even though there's not much to it, it needs to be done. And, I want to add a scene to the begining of another story, but I'm not sure it'll fit in. I suppose I can always add it later, provided I don't forget it.
We'll see how well this goes. I'm known for not keeping my word.

Date: 2004-04-16 12:48 am (UTC)Dude! My First Mister is SO amazing! Plus, the MMK-ness, of course.
Ghoulies; for there can be nothing better than monsters living in toilets.
