Hell's bells
Mar. 24th, 2004 11:15 pmHammie fell out of a shopping cart at Walmart today and bonked her head. Mummy wasn't too concerned with it (however the Walmart employees were fucking frantic about it) until she got her home and Hammie asked to go to sleep. She never asks to go to sleep. So, Mummy just kept an eye on her as she slept and she got up and seemed to feel fine. Crisis averted.
Then Mummy told me she bonked her head TWICE before that incident at Walmart. I'm like, "Hell yeah she wanted to sleep! She probably had a fucking headache. Get that kid a helmet."
Hammie was telling the step dad about falling out of the cart. She told him, "I hurt my head. I need a band-aid." Apparently band-aids have magical healing powers that I'm not aware of and work whether the skin is broken or not.
Hammie will also be coming over to my house Saturday. When Mummy asked if she wanted me to watch her at her house or at my house, she said, "Kiki's house." Then today when Mummy asked if she was going to my house Saturday, she said, "No. Kiki yucky." Thanks, kid. Then when Mummy asked her if she was going to see my dad, she says, "Yep." Now, why the hell isn't he yucky too? We live in the same house!
I'm punching that kid in the nose when I see her.
I watched Die Another Day twice today, but only the parts with Lawrence Makoare in them. Not only is he pretty, but he has lovely hair as well. And, he looks very nice in a tux. And, he's married, so I should probably stop fantasizing about following him around like a puppy dog.
Have you ever danced with the Devil in the pale moonlight? Yeah, me neither. *wanders off aimlessly*

Date: 2004-03-25 12:52 am (UTC)I actually watched the rest of it and was giddy whenever he was on....
I am a sad sad girl....
Also...my nephew Corey is MUCH like Hammie...he used to go around head-butting things...once he did it to my mum's headboard and we had to take him to the hospital for stitches and cause we were pretty sure the kid had a concusion....he did it for the first 4 years of his life...he just turned 5 and I am told he only recently stopped...*sighs*
PS
That story was fab...although I wished it had ended differently...LOVED the different side of Percy...but you know my frame of mind so I was like NOOOOOOO SAD ENDINGS NOOOOO!!! But it was GREAT. I would like to see more of it....maybe the charm didn't work...;)

Date: 2004-03-25 01:16 pm (UTC)I dunno what's up with Hammie. It's like she fails to realize her head protrudes from her neck or something and just wangs it on everything. She has this thing with her eyes, too. She gets a black eye at least once a month.
I was thinking of writing a sequel to that story, but then I got to know the fandom a little more and it totally turned me off. I suppose it's just going to stay the way it is. Heh.
