whiski_sourHung out with Mummy and Hammie this morning. We went to K-Mart and I picked up a couple of poster frames for my room. Just to see if they'd work out with my artwork. They do, I just need to get some mats to put behind them and get a couple more.
I'm still debating on whether or not to hang up my LOTR poster that Sean Astin signed for me last year. It might be too fangirlish of me to put it in my room. If I don't hang it up in my room, it'll go up in the spare room on display with my action figures and few other autographs I've obtained over the years (I think I've managed to get two others on my own...the rest friends got for me).
We also went to the mall. We went to Old Navy and while Mummy looked for clothes for Hammie, she drug me all over the store. When we got to the front of the store, she goes up to the glass front and says, "Oh no! Trapped!" I had to reassure her that we could still get out.
Mummy had to go to MC Sports so she sent me and Hammie off to Sears to see if my sister was there (she was supposed to be taking Hobbit today to get her picture taken). Every ten feet, Hammie would ask where Grammy was. I'd tell her she was in MC Sports. Slowly, but surely we made our way to Sears (where Hammie felt up every table cloth and vaccuum in sight). Mimzie wasn't there so we started back down to MC Sports at the other end of the mall. When we finally got there, Hammie spots Mummy and says, "Grammy! You're lost!"
Then we went home and made lunch. When the step dad got there, Hammie comes running into the front room yelling, "Peepaw! Kiki here! Kiki here!" Ya know. In case he missed me sitting on the couch. Grown-ups aren't too bright you know.
I came home, changed clothes, and tried to finish painting. The shelf came out okay and can go in tomorrow, but I'm gonna have to touch up that stupid end table again. As if I really needed more green and purple paint on my jeans and my jacket.
I got two hats and a shirt I ordered in the mail today. All from cafepress stores I run. They turned out really nice, though I probably don't really need any more ballcaps than I already have.
Now all I want to do is take the evening off and relax, but I can't. It's Thursday. That won't make sense to anyone but me, probably, but as long as I know what I'm talking about, it's okay.
Tomorrow, I gotta go to the grocery store. And, I gotta move that shelf in and move the videos downstairs as well as some other stuff I've got holed away up there. It's amazing the shit I've found. Does anyone else remember those postcard sized, WCW/NWO cards? I've got a freakin' ton of them. I should sell them if I can find anyone interested.
