I'm suppoda make dinner tonight, but my dad just went to sleep. So that means it's called on account of unconsciousness, yeah?

Speaking of my dad, he put a second coat of orange paint on the walls of my bedroom earlier. Afterwards, he was laying on the living room floor watching tv. I came in and noticed the door to my bedroom (which is right next to the living room) was wide open.

Me: I thought we couldn't leave that door open because you said the paint was too bright.
Dad: It is. *pause* I'm watching paint dry.
Me: *groans and walks away*

And, on the random side of the news...it took me three days to remember the name of the pain killer I was on after surgery. Darvocet. Dar-vo-cet. *writes it on a post-it and sticks it up on the bulletin board* Just in case I need to remember it again.

At this rate, I'll be doing the same thing with my name.
