I couldn't bear to be interesting today

For anyone else doing Nanowrimo this year, you'll find my November scramblings over at kikiwrites. And if you frequent the Nano forums, I'm feloniousfeline over there.

I was supposed to make steak fajitas for dinner tonight, but I made steak and taters instead. It's getting that time of year. Dad's making chicken and noodles tomorrow. Feel free to envy me.

Speaking that time of year, I'm going to have to take pictures of the Redneck Colony across the street. Their yard has been decked out for Halloween since the end of September and they keep adding more stuff to it. It's awesome. They've got an inflatable pirate skeleton that comes out of a pirate's chest and I night it's just mesmerizing.

I'd like to do something like that, but if I put it out then I'd have to take it down. We're not so good at the taking down thing in my house.

There's still Christmas lights wrapped around the banister from '96.
