Loved the poker games, letting each other win, calling each other out. The judge telling Beckett to make Castle "cry like a little girl" was fab.
I admit I figured out pretty early on that the other lady on the boat wasn't dead. But her being the murderer was a nice kick in the shins. Like Beckett said, go somewhere else for happy endings. I like that the endings to the cases aren't black and white right and wrong. I like the pesky extenuating circumstances that make enforcing the law just a little harder than it looks.
I can't say enough about the chemistry of the cast. They've gelled so nicely and it all plays so well.
Are you hearing this ABC? Perhaps you should give this show more than 13 episodes. It might pay off to your benefit. Just saying.
In other non-TV news, there really isn't any. I really kind of have no life. And I'm okay with that.
Except it makes it kind of challenging to post every day.
Please note how I have yet to back down from the challege.
