Deep fried Twinkie. I think it was an appropriate description of the ex-wife and I hope the show treats her as such. She's a fun character to have pop in now and then, but they'd have to be careful not to use her too much. Way to easy to OD on a character like that.

Nice that they worked her into the case, though, and had her help in her own, self-absorbed way. I liked that.

I liked this case. Enough twists and turns to keep it interesting, but not get anyone lost or seem too off the wall. That seems to be the way with they mysteries and I think it's working. Not too overdone, not too outrageous.

Loving Espisito (I gotta find out how to spell that guy's name) and Ryan. Loved that they got some digs on Castle after he botched IDing the car.

And, as it's been from the beginning, I'm sold on the flirty friendship going on with Castle and Beckett. It's so working. Please don't fuck it up.

That's going to be my closing chant every Monday. Please don't fuck it up.

Okay, gotta run. I have to print out a tax form for Dad.

As if wearing a bulletproof vest isn't living dangerously enough for the old man, he also has to tango with deadlines.

It's inherited. Papa does the same thing with his taxes.

I just skirt writing deadlines.
