The bats were out last night
Mar. 21st, 2009 10:38 pmI didn't get to bed until after three this morning. Apparently, the Walmart that Carrie and Haley went to in order to purchase the highly desired Twilight DVDs was unprepared for the fangirl masses and it was a time-consuming clusterfuck.
And while they were standing in line for sparkling vampires, I was at Haley's house watching the 1979 version of Dracula.
I don't know if AMC was honoring the release of one vampire movie by playing another vampire movie, or if it was mocking it.
Either way, I was entertained.
And Haley and Carrie brought me back a memento from their excursion. They got me Twilight dog tags. It says "Twilight" on one tag and has a silver wolf on the other. I guess they were bound and determined to get me something Twilight and this was the one thing they though I actually might like because it was the least fangirly.
Actually, the wolf tag is pretty cool looking, so I will give them some credit. They did good.
At least, it's worth all the games of sudoku I played.
