Revenge of the technology
Dec. 20th, 2008 11:52 pmAfter my daring trip to the mall for last minute Christmas shopping (everyone was at Kohl's...EVERYONE), I came home and started playing around with my new laptop.
I have named it Gringo II: No Boogaloo For You. It seems there may be a problem with the D drive. Or there may not be and my laptop is just the demon spawn of my desktop because it works...when it feels the urge to. I won't be able to do anything about it until Monday, so I'll keep messing with it and see how it plays out.
In other Gringo II news, I'm getting used to the touch mouse thingie. I've never had a laptop before, never really used one. My dexterity is lacking. Playing solitaire is something of a challenge for me. Hilarity has ensued for people who are not me. But I'm getting the hang of it.
At any rate, I look forward to going to bed tonight, kicking back under the covers, and playing pinball. Ah, that's the life.
