Here's to overeating and pie
Nov. 27th, 2008 11:31 amHappy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends.
We're getting ready to go to my Aunt Jo's. Dad has to work, as he does every year. No doubt Aunt Jo will make him a plate for us to take home to him.
No doubt about four other groups in town will drop off food at the police station to make sure the guys working today get a Thanksgiving dinner.
No doubt no one believes me when I say it's no hardship for my father to be working today.
