Jul. 8th, 2008 09:26 pmWell, we've made it this far and haven't turned on the air conditioning. I'm pretty sure it's a record.
Of course, Carrie is upstairs with a case of the vapors (she's a delicate flower...the heat and humidity wilt her) and we haven't been without complaints, but nobody's bothered turning on the A/C. Go team melty!
Despite the really nasty humidity today, I did manage to force myself to start working on the rewrites of "In the Dark". Three whole pages. There may have been more, but with this afternoon's storm running me all over the house shutting windows, making dinner, and playing Atlantis Slots instead of working, my productivity was limited.
I feel, though, that now that I've gotten started (getting started is always the hardest for me) it'll come along a little easier and at a better clip.
