Time to travel

winged_fire and I are gearing up to head on down to the Decatur Celebration to see the Presidents of the United States of America. I'm sure we'll also have time to wander around and see what cheesey wares are being hocked this year.

I love useless shit. And, according to Phe, useless fair shit is completely different from useless craft fair shit. I'm inclined to agree. Useless fair shit has this whole aura of carny about it that useless craft fair shit just doesn't have.

We also must get a lemon shake-up because it' just not a fair without one.

Celebrate while clogging

winged_fire and I had a lovely time at the Decatur Celebration.

( In which I suddenly revisted junior high in the oddest way. )

Now this Celebration item is just too good to put behind a cut. All must see it.

As we're sitting there listening ot the band, this guy walks back and forth in front of us a couple times. The guy had the coolest mullet known to mullets. It was a like a perfect, square flat top on the top and long in the back. It was a thing of beauty. I wish I'd taken my camera now because it was just...fucking awesome.
