The warrenty has long expried

I tend to tease my dad about his unfortunate memory, especially when he does things like comes into the kitchen for a bottle of water, gets distracted, and then leaves without said bottle of water or wanders around Walmart trying to remember what else he went in to buy.

Today I went to Walgreens and forgot the one thing I really went in there for. It was the ONLY thing I could remember that I needed when I left the house. I walked into the store and the flourescent lighting did funny things to my brain because sure as shit, I walked out with everything that I suddenly remembered that I needed and not the one thing I left the house knowing I needed to get.

I can't decide if this is karma or part of that curse parents put on their children when they say, "I hope you have a kid just like you!"
